Nothing that you can see, the designs and colours look exactly the same in both qualities of steel!!  However, while New Zealand is the best place in the world to live, the climate can be harsh. While we do all we can to protect our designs from corrosion, sometimes it’s necessary to step it up & bring in the big guns. Stainless Steel is the best defence against sea spray, ocean winds, humidity & high rainfall areas. If you  live near the ocean, where it rains a lot, or in an area of high humidity, we recommend you invest in stainless steel.

Absolutely!  We love a custom colour & can powder coat in both the Ico Traders exclusive colour range, or any of the IPL or Deluxe colour range (as long as we have powder stocks).

Our first option is always to direct you to a stockist near to you, however, if we can’t find one for you, you can place a backorder for delivery as soon as the new shipment arrives, OR, if you are impatient like me, we can custom colour one for you. (Note: there is a charge to do so).

A: If you furniture is scratched or you are bored with the colour of it, you can get them re-powdercoted to look like new. This can be done at you local powdercoaters, or we can organise for you.

B: List your unwanted furniture on our REHOME/RELOVE page and make yourself some money. https://icotraders.co.nz/reloved/

C: If something drastic has happened and your furniture is irreparable, please remove the feet and deliver to your local refuse station, they will recycle the steel.

Yes, if you are in Christchurch, you can pick up from 12 Halkett St, central Christchurch.  Select the pick up option at checkout & we will let you know when you order is ready to collect.

Yes we can, we use Aramex couriers for smaller items & Mainfreight2Home for the larger items.  There is an extra fee for rural delivery, or you can pick up from your local dept. Contact us for pricing.

Please do not sign for damaged goods.  Take photos of the damage and contact us immediately so that we can place a claim & replace your items as soon as possible.  Please read our T&Cs for damaged freight.
