The Squishy

When you sit in our Piha Loungers, Coromandel Chairs & Orere Sofas, you realise how comfortable our wires chairs are without needing cushions.

But if you want to take relaxation to another level, then The Squishy is exactly what you need!

This marshmallowy squab squishes into lots of different Ico Traders seats & makes you feel like you’re sitting on clouds.  While made for outside, it looks so good you’ll want to  use it inside too.  You can take to to the beach, or to the park, to treat yourself to a softer seat.

For the outer cover, we’ve chosen to use ‘Elba”, an Italian woven boucle fabric by Mokum Textiles.  Suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, Elba is resistant to UV, saltwater, and chlorinated water, as well as non-allergenic and resistant to mildew and bacteria . You can use it in both commercial and residential applications, inside & outdoors.

We fill our Squishy with ‘Dacron’ offcuts, using up manufacturing waste & creating a quick drying, long lasting cushion.  Each cushion has a hidden zip for easy removal when washing.
