Shopping with Ico Traders means you agree to the terms below. We’ve made them simple, clear, and easy to understand.


Returns and Refunds

At Ico Traders, we want you to love what you buy. If you’re not completely happy, we’re here to help.

Returning an Item

  • You can return your purchase within 7 days of receiving it.

  • Make sure the item is unused, still in original condition, and includes all original packaging.

  • Choose from a refund, exchange, replacement, or store credit. We’ll work with you to make it right.

  • Please email [email protected] with your invoice number and the reason for returning the item.

If Your Item Is Faulty

  • Let us know as soon as you notice the fault.

  • Keep the packaging, just in case we need it for a return.

  • We’ll cover the cost to return faulty items. After that, we’ll either repair, replace, or refund the product.

Sale Items

  • We don’t offer refunds for sale items.

  • However, you can request an exchange or store credit instead.

Return Conditions

  • We can’t accept returns with damaged packaging unless the item itself is faulty.

  • You’ll need to pay for return shipping unless the item is faulty.

  • Use a tracked courier – you’re responsible for the item until it reaches us.

2 Year Warranty

We back our wire furniture and homewares with a 2-year warranty. You can shop with confidence, knowing we stand behind our products.

What We Cover

  • Faults in materials or craftsmanship

  • Breakage under normal use

How We Help

If your item is under warranty, we will:

  • Repair the item

  • Replace broken parts

  • Swap it for a new one if we can’t fix it

  • Refund you if we can’t replace or repair it

What’s Not Covered

  • Damage from neglect or misuse

  • Changes made to the product without approval

  • Loss or theft

  • Damage from natural disasters

  • Claims made more than 2 years after purchase


Corrosion and Coastal Environments

Our furniture is durable, but even the best finishes need care.

What Can Cause Corrosion

  • Salt spray and sea breezes

  • High humidity, especially with mist or fog

  • Airborne pollutants like sulphur dioxide

If you live in a coastal area, we recommend following our care guide closely. Regular maintenance will help your furniture last longer.


Privacy and Data Security

We treat your information with care and respect.

  • We keep your details safe and secure.

  • We never sell or share your information.

  • All payments go through secure systems.

  • We don’t store your credit card details.


Payment and Currency

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include 15% GST.

Paying by Credit Card

  • We use Stripe to process card payments securely.

  • Ico Traders never sees your full card number.

  • eWAY uses PCI-compliant, military-grade security.

  • View Stripes legal liscences here

We apply a 3% surcharge to credit card payments.

Paying by Bank Deposit (NZ only)

  • Choose this option at checkout.

  • Pay within 3 working days.

  • If we don’t receive your payment, we’ll cancel the order and return the items to stock.

  • A 5% processing fee applies to cancelled or refunded unpaid orders.


Shipping Information

New Zealand Delivery

  • We ship orders via Mainfreight2Home or Aramex.

  • All parcels require a signature for delivery.

  • If no one is home, the courier will leave a card.

  • We dispatch most orders within 1–2 business days, excluding custom products.

  • You’ll see your shipping cost at checkout.

International Delivery

  • We ship internationally to select countries.

  • If your location isn’t listed, please email us for a quote.

  • Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.


Layby and Pre-Orders

Layby (NZ Only)

  • Pay a 20% deposit on in-stock items or 50% on pre-orders.

  • Pay the remaining balance within 4 weeks (or contact us to arrange longer).

  • A $20 cancellation fee applies if you cancel your layby.

  • Layby is not available for sale items or promotional deals.

Pre-Orders

  • Delivery dates may change due to supply chain delays.

  • To confirm your pre-order, pay a 50% deposit or full payment within 3 business days.

  • If you’ve ordered other items, we’ll ship everything together unless you ask otherwise.

  • A $20 fee applies if you cancel a pre-order.


Final Sale Items

We sell all second items as-is, and they’re final sale. We do not offer returns or refunds on seconds.


Promotions and Discount Codes

  • Each discount code can be used once per customer, unless we state otherwise.

  • Promo codes don’t apply to sale items or bundles unless noted.

  • We reserve the right to cancel orders if promo codes are misused.

  • Promotions have clear end dates and won’t be extended.

  • We don’t offer returns, holds, or laybys on promo items.


Your Rights as a Customer

You’re protected by New Zealand law. All purchases fall under:

  • The Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

  • The Fair Trading Act 1986
