CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Daily Cleaning

Recommended tools: Use a soft microfibre cloth, sponge, or soft-bristled brush.

Cleaning solution: Use warm water mixed with a mild neutral detergent (e.g., gentle dish soap). Dilute at approximately 1:100 (detergent to water).

Cleaning method: Wipe gently with the damp cloth, then rinse with clean water.

After cleaning: Always dry thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth to prevent water spots.

What to Avoid

Avoid abrasive tools: Steel wool, scouring pads, wire brushes, sandpaper, or any harsh abrasive materials — these will scratch and dull the powder-coated surface.
Avoid harsh chemicals: Strong acids, alkalis, bleach, paint thinners, acetone, or solvent-based cleaners. These can break down the powder coating, causing discoloration, peeling, or loss of adhesion.
Avoid pressure washers: High-pressure water jets can force moisture under the coating or chip the surface.

Promptly clean spills

Wipe up food, beverages, and chemical spills immediately to prevent staining or chemical interaction with the coating.

Avoid impact and sharp objects

Dropping heavy objects or dragging sharp items across the surface can chip the powder coating. Once chipped, moisture can reach the aluminium and cause corrosion underneath.

Sun exposure

While powder coating is UV-resistant, prolonged direct sunlight over many years may cause gradual fading, especially with darker colours. Consider using shade or covers during extreme sun exposure.

Coastal environments

In high-salt or humid areas, rinse the furniture weekly with fresh water and wipe dry to remove salt residues that can attack the coating over time.
