Coromandel Chair – Stainless Steel

The Coromandel stainless steel chair is your go-to for long conversations in the sun, peaceful moments with a view, or slow afternoons with a good book. It offers the same modern design as our original Coromandel, but with a premium upgrade. If you live near the ocean, or in areas of high humidity or rainfall, investing in stainless steel is a smart move.

This enhanced version is crafted from 201-grade stainless steel, a much stronger and more durable base material with increased corrosion resistance. While the frame looks identical to the original, the added protection makes it ideal for harsh outdoor environments.

Designed for comfort, this stainless steel chair doesn’t require any cushioning, though we’ve also created a custom outdoor chair pad for added softness. (Made in New Zealand & sold separately.)

Each chair requires a small amount of assembly on arrival, or for a small fee, we are happy to do this for you.

Custom colouring: $90.00 per chair.

Assembly: $35/chair plus extra freight if applicable.

201 stainless steel contains 16%-18% chromium, 3.5%-5.5% nickel and 5.5%-7.5% manganese (providing corrosion resistance).  

Note: Like a white T-shirt, every mark may show—some staining may still occur on lighter colourways.
