You know that at Ico Traders, we love to design objects that are simple, functional & multipurpose! The beauty is in all the different ways the Bantay Nesting Tables can be used. There is no upside, downside or back to front.  You can sit them tall or sit them low.  Hold magazines up the top & books down below.  Even when placed on their sides, the loopy rolls will hold all your favourite reads. Its is the ultimate set of side tables, bedside tables, magazine holder and book keeper. The metal plate can fit anywhere on the tables, you can move it around as needed. (Extra plates sold separately). The Bantay Nesting Tables are powdercoated in  Ico Traders' hand mixed colours, inspired by the New Zealand landscapes.

To help protect your investment and keep your furniture looking its best, it’s important to follow some simple care and maintenance steps.

Each Ico Traders piece is finished with a PVDF base coat and coloured powder coat, you can choose from our Ico traders colour range or custom colour to suit any room.

Furniture Care: Getting Started.

Unpacking Tips.

When unwrapping your furniture:

• Use care with knives or scissors to avoid scratching the surface

• Avoid placing table tops or wire surfaces directly on the ground, we recommend a soft blanket or carpet, to avoid scratches.

Cleaning Guidelines.

To keep your wire furniture clean:

• Use a soft cloth, mild non-detergent soap, and water

• Avoid abrasive sponges or harsh cleaners, which can scratch the surface

• For stubborn grime, use a non-abrasive multi-purpose or window cleaner

Always inspect your furniture while cleaning. If you notice scratches or early signs of rust, apply touch-up paint immediately to prevent further damage.

Also, clean off bird droppings and sunscreen as soon as possible. These substances can break down the protective finish and lead to staining or corrosion.

Sustainable Disposal and Recycling.

When you’re ready to dispose of packaging or old furniture:

• Take all recyclable materials to your local refuse centre

• Where possible, choose to reuse, re home, refurbish, or recycle instead of sending items to landfill

• WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MILD STEEL AND STAINLESS STEEL QUALITIES? Mild steel furniture is best suited for indoor areas or sheltered outdoor spaces in dry climate conditions. It’s ideal for use inside, covered patios, or sunny decks protected from rain. Stainless steel furniture is the right choice for coastal regions, high humidity, or areas exposed to salt winds. For homes near the sea or in damp environments, stainless steel ensures long-lasting durability and resistance to corrosion
• THERE ARE A FEW UNEVEN WIRES ON MY BANTAY - WHAT DO I DO? Due to the handmade nature of the Bantay Tables, there can sometimes be some wibbles in the wires, especially once the reel of wire gets nearer the end and the roll is tighter. You can see these in the photos on our website. We consider this the personality of the furniture and not a fault. However, if you do get a piece that you can't find the love for, send it back and we will review our stock to select you a replacement. NB: Freight charges may apply.
• WHAT SORT OF WARRANTY DO YOU HAVE FOR YOUR FURNITURE?  Ensuring the quality of of furniture has always been of utmost importance to the Ico Traders production team & we are proud to say there are very rarely faults.  Little wiggles in wires are part of the handcrafted nature of the product. There is a 2 year warranty on any broken welds or wirer.  Contact us & they will be fixed immediately, or your item replaced .
• WHO DO YOU SHIP WITH?  CAN I COLLECT FROM YOUR STORE? We ship all our larger items with Mainfreight2Home. Freight is calculated at checkout and depends on your location. We can deliver directly to your door or your nearest Mainfreight Depot. For rural delivery quotes, please contact us. Save on freight costs: Local pickup is available at 12 Halkett Street, Christchurch. We’ll contact you when your order is ready for collection.
